We have been working with Blueberry Sports to build a whole new web platform for their growing sports business and have given their current logo and branding a refresh to bring it inline with the new modern styled website. The current logo had a fairly dated feel to it, with gradients and shadows making it look overly complex and hard to make out. The logo was also black and white, which although this can work very well for a number of businesses, it did not really fit with the vibrant, fun and exiting image this fitness company are portraying.
We cleaned the existing logo up by removing the shadows and cleaning up the shaping of the logo itself. Next we created a colour palette of different blues to find the new company colours that we could use moving forwards. The chosen blue, is a nice bright almost electric colour which really works well for this sporting brand.
The colour scheme has been used throughout the website and the vibrant blue header really makes the logo stand out as a strong brand from the moment you visit the first page of the site. The colour scheme and branding have been used throughout the new website, which has had a lot of time spent re-planning and designing everything from the general looks to the usability.
The previous website was very difficult to use, with a confusing navigation and a hard to use shop. The main problem seemed to be that multiple CMS systems had been used and they had not been joined together in anyway to create a seemless browser experience. We have completely re-structured the entire website and have used one website for the main website and the e-commerce store, to give users an easy to use shopping experience that they will want to use over and over again.
Overall this has been a great project to work on, it is great seeing this brand improve and grow so quickly and we look forward to hearing more from this growing sports brand and the success their new website is bringing.
